When someone plans a wedding, the first thing they think about is perhaps the bride's dress or the color the bridesmaids will use… But how many times do we think about choosing a perfect floral concept for the wedding? If this is something you have thought about, or you are in the midst of planning your Big Day, here at My Flower Fairy our purpose is to help you throughout the whole process.
We always keep in mind that “there is no right or wrong way. The process is different for each couple, our family is here to make it a pleasant experience!”.

How to choose the perfect floral concept for your wedding?
At Flower Fairy we believe in the beauty of storytelling through art. When we meet with our couples for the first time, our favorite part is hearing how they fell in love! Our intention is to design beautiful floral concepts and installations that truly capture the couple’s vision and love story. Not every couple has decided on a floral concept for their wedding, at least not until they meet our family!
We have a very unique process with our couples that we have been perfecting for over 5 decades. We can confidently say you’ll feel the happiest in our hands!
Our best advice when choosing the perfect floral concept for your wedding is, dig deep! It might sound chiché, but if you feel like you need inspiration remember: the devil’s in the details. Maybe you can recall something cute that happened on your first trip together, or a funny anecdote of your first date.. Anything about the two of you!
Do you have any tips to help couples choose the floral concept for their wedding?
- Don’t feel bad: Think about it, you and your partner are the reason for the wedding. Your loved ones will be gathered to celebrate your bond to each other, so don’t feel bad about skipping out on certain traditions. For example, there are some brides who simply don’t want to toss the bouquet and we understand that! Trends change! Lately we have designed beautiful floral hoops, crowns, and even floral purses for the MOH and Bridesmaids.
- Balance: Finding balance between you and your special someone is always tricky, especially when it comes to making decisions. Unless you’re allowed “full control”, it might help to make a list of priorities together and to discuss your budget. But don’t forget to dream!
- Big NO!: Start thinking about what you don't want. Once you have that defined, make sure you communicate it to all your vendors and family in a clear way. Maybe you like roses, but you just don’t want to see them on the day of your wedding, or maybe there are certain colors that make you feel uncomfortable. Make a list and let us know right away.
- Wedding Venue: Once you have your venue secured, the show is on the road! The more you plan -even if you have a wedding planner- the more you will start to notice each and every detail. I highly recommend you get to know your venue from the start. What is allowed? What isn’t? Ask every question you can think of, you don’t want to run into any surprises the day of your wedding.

- Embrace your love: Even though we work with the best venue’s again and again, each wedding is different. This takes us back to your priorities. We’ve had couples that want minimal cocktail decor because they’d rather go all out in the reception room, or maybe they prefer a fountain installation. In our process, we help couples define the areas that are most important to them and that will allow them to embrace their love to the fullest. We will meet up as many times as it takes, and we are always just a phone call away!
- Don’t forget to dream: Everything starts with a wish, a dream, a desire! Our family at Flower Fairy never forgets that, and we are here to work closely with you and make that dream come to life! Of course, we understand each budget is different, but we really don’t make it about the price. As soon as you meet us, you’ll see for yourself.
