Wedding day: flower arrangements for everyone!

Between the centerpiece flower arrangements, floral installations such as backdrops, hanging flowers, ceremony decorations, and of course the bride's bouquet, do you know who else carries a floral arrangement at the wedding celebration? Good news: everyone else!

Flowers for the Groom: the boutonniere

The groom also carries a complement of flowers called Boutonniere, or as we like to say, “Flowers right above the heart”. This flower arrangement can match the bride's bouquet or as a complement to the decoration of the wedding celebration. The Boutonniere is a small vertical arrangement that is placed on the left side of the label. For the traditional ones, It could contain at least one of the types of flowers used in the bridal bouquet or floral decoration, but for the bold audience, there is no limit in creativity for this arrangement: it can contain all types of flowers, as many colors the groom is willing to choose, and even small objects that represent the significant other`s personality. 

Of course, flower arrangements for bridesmaids

The “first'' bridesmaid also carries a perfect bouquet that is usually smaller than the one that the bride carries. This bouquet can also match the bride's bouquet, without being exactly the same, just a different version of it. This bridesmaid’s bouquet should have some element that distinguishes them from the bride's bouquets, for example, a different type of flower, stronger colors, ribbons, etc. As for the rest of the bridesmaids, not at all less important, the tradition is that they wear a flower corsage that can be placed on the arm or on the dress. However, not all of them like to wear the corsage and this can easily be changed for a bouquet, which is a little simpler than that of the bride and the godmother. We can assist everyone in this choice and find an option that makes all of the bride's family or friends feel comfortable. 

Boutonnieres for the best man and the gentlemen of the entourage

The best man and the gentlemen of the entourage should also wear Boutonnieres. These can be the same as the groom's or simply made in the same colors and same flowers as the bridesmaids' bouquets. The sky's the limit, and this can be a fun task for the groom to guide their entourage.  

Parents and Grandparents should wear flowers too!

‍The parents and grandparents for both families participating in the ceremony may also wear flower arrangements. In the Flower Fairy family, we sustain that everyone should carry the magic of flowers, so, we certainly respect a tradition that brings all of the involved the opportunity to wear them.
For the men, a Boutonniere could be the most appropriate option. For the ladies, a distinguished corsage is a great alternative without stealing the bride or bridesmaid’s spotlight.

Our favorite: the Flower Girls

We love these little protagonist of this big day. The flower girls will carry a basket full of petals to match the bride's flowers. This basket can be decorated with the same flowers from the bridal bouquet or flowers that also appear in the other floral installations or flower arrangements of the wedding decoration. It can also carry ribbons, glassware, and other accessories. Be sure to have a photograph of this little walk down the aisle as it is a very special moment for the family.

Finally, the ring bearer

Why not? The ring bearer cushion may also be decorated with little flowers that follow the same floral concept of the wedding party, and can also wear a bouttoniere.
