Salt Lake City floral installations →Utah · installed by our Miami crew
Utah gives us two very different engineering problems inside one trip. Salt Lake City runs a serious convention and corporate calendar at roughly 4,300 feet in a high desert basin. Park City, forty minutes up the canyon, runs a resort and festival calendar at about 7,000 feet where January installations happen on snow. The same design brief needs different mechanics and different flowers in each.
We are a Miami studio and this page will not imply otherwise. Structures are welded and dry-fitted in our Kendall workshop, freighted to Utah ahead of the crew, and installed by the same team that designed them. Fresh product is bought through Salt Lake wholesalers close to the install date, because material that has crossed the country and then gained altitude does not perform.
Dryness is the constant. Relative humidity in the basin regularly sits in the teens and it is lower still on the mountain, which shortens fresh vase life sharply and makes hydration-first, foam-free mechanics a requirement rather than a preference. Winter adds cold-shock in transit and load-ins on ice.
Both Utah markets now have their own pages because the last leg genuinely differs. Pairing dates in Salt Lake City and Park City on one trip remains the cheapest way to do both, and we will tell you when the calendar allows it.
The state's calendar is what decides whether a date is buildable. These are the seasons we plan around and the point at which a custom build has to be committed.
