A brand environment wrapped in bougainvillea and built to camera — the kind of statement piece a Tampa launch asks for.
Read the study →Tampa, FL · installed by our Miami crew
Tampa Bay is a truck ride from our Kendall workshop, across the state on the Gulf side. We build statement installations, floral backdrops, flower walls, faux florals and artificial trees in Miami, load them fully assembled or in labelled sections, and drive them to Tampa, St. Petersburg or Clearwater with the crew that built them.
The market here is broader than a single convention district. Downtown Tampa has the convention center, the Water Street hotels and the Riverwalk; St. Petersburg has a museum-and-waterfront scene of its own; Clearwater brings beach resorts and a major performing-arts hall. One page covers all three because one drive and one crew plan serves them.
We have not yet published a Tampa Bay project, and this page says so plainly. What we can offer is the same floral and event design practice behind our Miami case studies, with honest logistics for a four-and-a-half-hour drive.
We have no published Tampa Bay project yet, so there are no Tampa case studies on this page. When one is photographed and cleared by the client, it will appear here with the venue, date and scope, like every study already on the site.
Until then, the fairest evidence is the work we have published in Florida. A Tampa statement installation is designed, welded, wrapped and dry-fitted on the same Kendall floor as those projects, loaded into our truck and installed by the same crew.
For corporate and convention work we start from the venue's specifications and dock schedule; for hotels and restaurants we start from how long the piece needs to last, which usually decides between fresh, faux or a mix.

Convention center
Waterfront exhibit halls and ballrooms where exhibitor and general-session builds are planned around the venue's published room specifications and dock times.
Arena
Premium-club and concert hospitality on tight changeovers between sports and touring dates.
Stadium
Sponsor tents and hospitality at stadium scale, where every freestanding piece is ballasted and wind-planned.
Hotel
Ballroom galas and lobby moments in the Water Street district; hotel dock and elevator rules set the install order.
Performing arts
Rentable halls and lobbies for galas and premieres, where a backdrop has to hold up under stage lighting.
Museum event venue
Event spaces with living exhibits nearby, so placement, water and fixings are agreed with the venue first.
Historic event hall
A restored industrial building on the river used for social and corporate events; large volume that rewards a single statement piece.
Resort hotel
A historic waterfront resort for weddings and conferences; formal rooms suit symmetrical entry installations.
Museum event venue
Private events inside strong architecture, where we design with the building instead of competing with it.
Performing arts
Benefit nights and receptions in a large hall; lobby and stage-front work is freestanding and quick to strike.
When to commit, by season. These windows are what a buildable date looks like once fabrication, freight and crew travel are all in the schedule.
Downtown Tampa's signature day, with the invasion docking at the convention center and Pirate Fest along the Riverwalk. Brunches, parties and hospitality suites book up around it.
Booking window: Commit by early November for anything we fabricate; December is fresh product and existing pieces only.
Twelve days at the state fairgrounds, a draw for brand and sponsor presence.
Booking window: Six to eight weeks for a sponsor build, with fairground rules confirmed before design is locked.
The IndyCar street race through downtown St. Petersburg, with hospitality and sponsor spaces along the circuit.
Booking window: Book by December for fabricated hospitality; January is the last practical start for a custom build.
Association meetings, sales conferences and awards dinners at the convention center and downtown hotels.
Booking window: Six to eight weeks, longer when a show's rigging approval is involved.
Waterfront and resort celebrations across Tampa, St. Petersburg and the Clearwater beaches, mostly outside the summer storm months.
Booking window: Four to six months for a peak Saturday.
Hotel lobby Christmas trees, restaurant dining rooms and storefront displays, installed from mid-November and struck in January.
Booking window: For 2026, reserve lobby trees by November 2, on our six-week holiday production schedule.
Tampa is roughly four and a half hours by road from our Kendall workshop, so pieces travel in our own truck with the crew. For a morning load-in we drive the day before and stay near the venue; for St. Petersburg and Clearwater we add the time across the bay to the schedule. No airfreight and no crew flights appear on the quote.
Plan on four to six weeks for a custom build. Re-dressing an existing structure or a flower-wall rental moves faster. Convention and stadium work takes longer because venue approvals, not our workshop, set that clock.
Structures, backdrops, faux florals and artificial trees are fabricated and dry-fitted in Kendall before they leave. Fresh flowers travel with us in a conditioned vehicle, or are bought from wholesalers in the Tampa Bay area close to install when the dressing schedule calls for it.
Venues set the rules: certificates of insurance naming the venue, dock reservations, elevator bookings and, for indoor pieces, fire documentation. Our artificial trees can carry a fire-retardant certificate for indoor venues; we check what the venue or fire marshal requires before approving the design. Outdoor builds on public waterfront spaces follow the organiser's or city's event permit, which we work inside rather than apply for on your behalf.
Humidity on the Gulf coast is close to Miami's, which is kind to fresh flowers indoors and hard on them in direct afternoon sun. Atlantic hurricane season runs June 1 to November 30, and summer afternoons bring frequent storms, so outdoor installs in those months are quoted with a written weather plan: what comes down, at what point, and who decides. For long outdoor holds we steer toward faux and UV-rated pieces.
No. Our only workshop is in Kendall, Miami. We design and build there and drive every Tampa Bay project across the state with our own crew.
Not yet published. Our case studies are in Miami and Dallas, and we link to the closest comparable ones on this page rather than claim Tampa work we cannot show.
Yes. Flower walls and backdrops can be rented or custom built, delivered and installed by our crew, and collected after the event. Rental availability depends on your date and what is already booked.
Yes. We offer four tree families — cherry blossom and flowering, olive and green, palms and bougainvillea, and Christmas trees — to buy or rent, with a fire-retardant certificate available for indoor venues and UV-rated options for outdoors.
Yes. Both are planned on the same drive as Tampa, with extra time on the schedule for the crossing and for the venue's own dock rules.
We book normally but write the weather plan into the quote: which pieces are removed, at what forecast threshold, and what a reinstall costs. Freestanding work is ballasted for wind as standard.
For fabricated work, early November for Gasparilla on January 30, 2027, and December for the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg on March 5–7, 2027. After that we can still help with fresh product and existing pieces.
