What happens in each week of a custom build
- Weeks 1–2: concept, render, and a fixed quote. Nothing is ordered until this is signed.
- Weeks 3–4: fabrication of the frame and structure in the Kendall workshop; venue site visit and COI filed.
- Week 5: floral sourcing locked; substitution plan agreed for anything seasonal.
- Week 6: dry build in the workshop — we assemble the whole piece before it goes anywhere.
- Install week: prep, load-in, install, and strike, on the venue's window.
Why peak weeks are different
In the first week of December (Art Basel) and the first weekend of May (Formula 1 at the Miami International Autodrome), every production crew, lift, box truck, and rental wall in Miami-Dade is committed months out. Vendors are not raising prices to be opportunistic; the labor genuinely is not available. If your date falls in one of those weeks, three to four months is the real number, and we cap how many builds we accept.
If you are already late
We can move fast: 72 hours for a rental wall, seven days for a single custom installation using in-stock structure, and around three weeks for a scaled-down version of a fabricated build. What rush does not buy is bespoke fabrication or an exotic sourcing list — we will show you the strongest version achievable in the window rather than promise the original and miss.
Frequently asked
- What is the fastest you can install a flower wall?
- 72 hours for a standard rental wall in Miami-Dade or Broward, subject to inventory. Custom work needs a minimum of three weeks.
- Do you charge a rush fee?
- Only when the timeline forces overtime crew or expedited freight, and we quote it as a line item before you approve. There is no automatic percentage markup for a short lead time.
- When should we book for Art Basel?
- By August or early September for a December Basel build. Studios that still have Basel capacity in November are the ones you should ask why.
