What should flowers do inside an MWC technology booth?
Flower Fairy starts an MWC floral brief with three jobs: make the brand readable, keep the demonstration accessible and create a deliberate camera background. A busy telecom or startup booth should not become a garden that hides the product. Begin with the approved floor plan and mark the demo screen, reception point and meeting seats before choosing the botanical palette. A floral edge can guide the eye toward a product without becoming a physical barrier. Review whether the chosen position is visible from the aisle and from the photographer’s actual distance. MWC Barcelona and 4YFN are planning contexts, not shows Flower Fairy has supplied.
| Decision | Planning check |
|---|---|
| Demo zone | Keep controls, cooling and screen edges clear |
| Meeting zone | Leave sightlines between visitors |
| Photo zone | Keep approved logo readable behind a person |
How do you design florals around a screen or live demo?
Flower Fairy reviews four clearances before proposing a screen surround: service access, ventilation, viewing angle and visitor movement. Ask the stand builder to mark the limits on a drawing; the floral installer should not guess where the electronics can tolerate an attachment. A leafy frame can introduce depth but should not cast shadows across a touch screen or obscure a small product. Photograph a mock-up with the screen showing its actual content, not an attractive blank rectangle. Check camera reflections from acrylic, glass and shiny leaves. Any cable path and any floral support must be agreed with the technical lead before the structure is fabricated.
| Decision | Planning check |
|---|---|
| Screen | Check viewing angle and reflections |
| Hardware | Verify service and ventilation access |
| Visitor route | Keep the demo usable during queues |
Can one floral build serve MWC and 4YFN audiences?
Flower Fairy can propose two coordinated views of one brand language, but reuse depends on the approved footprint, transport and event schedule. A corporate meeting area may need a quiet background while a startup pitch point needs a sharper, smaller photo composition. Use the same botanical palette with different density rather than duplicating an entire room treatment. Ask which modules can travel, who packs them and where they are stored between appearances. Confirm the correct location, exhibitor access and 4YFN arrangements directly with the organisers; a shared show period does not automatically give a contractor access to every space.
| Decision | Planning check |
|---|---|
| Corporate meetings | Quiet texture with readable branding |
| Pitch and startup content | Compact camera-facing composition |
| Reuse | Packing, access and storage agreed in writing |
What belongs in a complete exhibitor brief?
Flower Fairy asks for six essentials before quoting: show and location, stand plan, dimensions, brand assets, installation window and strike window. Add the desired photograph and describe what visitors should do near the floral. Tell us whether you are the exhibitor, agency or stand builder and identify the person approving technical changes. Include access constraints, fresh or artificial preferences and a budget that covers production rather than flowers alone. A complete brief prevents separate teams designing conflicting supports. Share the venue’s current exhibitor instructions rather than a manual from a previous edition; official requirements and the organiser’s accepted documentation should be checked for the actual space.
| Decision | Planning check |
|---|---|
| Brand | Approved logo, colors and photo objective |
| Technical | Plan, dimensions and contractor contact |
| Schedule | Written install and strike access |
When should fabrication, installation and strike be planned?
Flower Fairy’s standard practice is a written quote within 48 hours of a complete brief and booking 6–8 weeks ahead. These are studio planning practices, not a guarantee of capacity or a show deadline. Our intended workflow is installation during an approved build-up day and strike on the agreed same night, where the venue allows it. Confirm those windows before production; do not infer them from public show dates. The stand builder, agency and exhibitor should approve one sequence, including when the product demo is ready and when furniture arrives. Travel, loading and storage need their own written lines so a delay does not become a hidden assumption.
| Decision | Planning check |
|---|---|
| Before production | Scope, approval and material documents |
| Build-up | Install within the authorised window |
| Strike | Agreed removal and freight destination |
How do we check interior safety and exterior suitability?
Flower Fairy supplies fire-retardant certification for its interior materials and UV protection for exterior specifications. Those are two different material decisions, not universal venue approval. Ask the venue which documents it requires, who reviews them and whether the installation needs additional structural or electrical information. No fire class is asserted here. UV protection does not establish wind resistance, weatherproofing or permission to place a support on a terrace. Describe sunlight, rain exposure, heat sources and guest contact. For a hanging piece, confirm approved supports and the technical lead separately. The certificate belongs with the material schedule and should be revisited if the approved material changes.
| Decision | Planning check |
|---|---|
| Interior | Material certificate accepted by the venue |
| Exterior | UV plus weather and anchoring review |
| Suspended work | Technical approval of the support |
What should the written proposal make clear?
Flower Fairy separates three decisions in the written proposal: what is fabricated, what is installed and what happens after the event. List dimensions, floral mix, approved branding, support and scope of crew work. Identify delivery, venue-related access, travel, removal and storage where applicable. If the agency provides the logo or the stand builder provides a support, name that responsibility instead of leaving a gap between quotes. The existing planning bands are not a final show quote. Written approval fixes the production scope and price before work begins, with changes agreed explicitly. This is how an exhibitor can compare complete proposals without mistaking a material-only price for an installed activation.
| Decision | Planning check |
|---|---|
| Build | Dimensions, materials and branding |
| Install | Crew, access, travel and schedule |
| After event | Strike, reuse and storage responsibility |

Frequently asked
Do you work with our stand builder?+
Yes. Flower Fairy subcontracts to stand builders and agencies, with six floral formats and in-house fabrication. We coordinate the brief with your technical lead.
Have you supplied this show before?+
No. Flower Fairy has not exhibited at or supplied the listed shows. Formula 1 Miami and T-Mobile are verified Miami projects, not proof of work at these events.
Can you promise venue approval?+
No. Flower Fairy supplies its interior material certificate; the exhibitor must verify acceptance, outside-contractor access and authorised installation windows with the venue and organiser.
